I’m Aidan. I’m currently a Programme Officer at the Astralis Foundation, providing grants to organisations working on the external assessment of frontier AI companies.

Previously I was Technical Governance Lead at the UK AI Security Institute, and helped expand the set of external assessments AISI worked on. Before that, I was a Research Scholar at GovAI, advising companies and governments on risks from frontier AI as part of the Risk Management Team.

I grew up in Wellington, New Zealand. I’m now based in London.
